photowalking?
Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things you may find interesting. (See Wikipedia: Photowalking)
Some time back, Robert Scoble, of The ScobleShow and Scobleizer, and Thomas Hawk, of Zooomr.com, started photowalking. A genre was born.

Does anyone know when the next photowalk will possibly happen? Is there a calendar posting that is easier then reading through all the blogs? The last one I went to was at Santa Monica

I concur with G.L. and Melissa. Is there a way that you can set up a calendar either on this site, or link to an open to the public one with Googles Calendar, so that all photowalk groups can post the when and where of their walks? I think this meets your goals for this site, and it would certainly make organizing easier for the traveling photowalker…if there any of those around yet?
