Marin Headlands Photowalk
So, I’m heading to Northern California in a few weeks. While I’m there, I hope to solo photowalk a bit, and family photowalk a bit. One thing I’ll also be doing is heading over to the Bay area for a day trip.
So, I’ve set up a photowalk with Thomas Hawk & gang for October 9, 2007, at 6pm (note the change). We’re going to meet somewhere off the 101 fwy, in the Marin Headlands. I’ll update a more precise location soon enough. In the mean time, tell all your photogeek friends and plan to meet us there.

Well I’m still hoping to attend, particularly since the time has been pushed back to 6pm. I’m just hoping there’s a clear meet-up point established before I have to hit the road to join you.

Well, I hope the photowalk went well. I really tried to join in - after and hour and a half driving from work I was still stuck in the Richmond at 6pm and traffic wasn’t moving at all because of a Golden Gate Bridge accident. At that point I decided to turn back home - I was still a long way from reaching the group on the other side.

Well…I got close to the bride driving through the city and happened to catch the news on radio about the heavy traffic on the bridge. So instead I decided to stop by a few of my favorite spots and take advantage of the awesome cloud formation over the city. Got a few cool bay bridge photos at dusk.
