Photowalking Stanford University
Photowalking Stanford/National Geographic Panel
Monday, October 1, 2007
4:PM @ the Stanford Memorial Church
Alright, so this sounds like a ton of fun. Rocky Barbanica and Robert Scoble have organized yet another photowalk. This time we are photowalking Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Stanford has tons of photo opportunities including the: Cantor Garden – Rodin Statue, Stone River at Cantor, Main Quad, Memorial Church, Science and Engineering Quad, and the New Guinea Sculpture Garden. I personally have never shot down at Stanford, but I hear that is quite the place. Not only are we photowalking, but later in the evening National Geographic will be hosting a photographic panel. The photography panel starts at 7:30 PM. You should definitely try to make it out to this one; it should be really fun and I’m sure you will learn something.

Photos clockwise by: darkmatter, mathoov, Pbo31, and jurvetson.

I’ll be there along with Matt and we’ll probably post a few shots afterward reviewing the walk. Sounds awesome.

Can we do this walk again? Maybe in September or October?

Hey Chuck, good idea!
I’m planning a downtown Palo Alto photowalk in October. I don’t see any reason why folks can meet in the afternoon, before the downtown walk, and shoot some of Stanford. Or maybe a night time walk would be cool.
