Confirming: Santa Monica Pier Photowalk
So, it looks like we’re going to have a great turn out at the first Santa Monica Pier Photowalk. In case you didn’t know, we’re having this on August 4th, 2007.
Just one thing we need to clear up. Where are we going to meet? I’ve seen that question tossed around a few times. Noel, the photographer of the image above, frequents the downtown area of Santa Monica. He recommends that we meet at the Third Street Promenade, since we’re meeting at 4pm. This allows us to wander the Promenade, a busy destination, before heading to the Pier. The golden hour for the Pier isn’t until sunset and it’s only a few blocks from the Promenade. I’m instructing everyone to meet at The Apple Store, at the Third Street Promenade, at 4pm. See you there!

I’m missing out on quite a bit living here on the East Coast. I’m going to have to organize my Photowalking group out this way very soon.

Trevor and Noel The walk as far as I went was fun !. Bob Sachs invite the LAUSD teachers and I was the lonely. Include me on the next ones and I will try to make it with some interested students.
I heard you mention the website and how to upload etc. Please inform me about the procedures.

I think meeting at the Apple Store is a great idea. I might be running a bit late because I unfortunately have work. I’m trying everything to get out of it. I somehow have Thomas’ number, I think from his blog, so I’ll just call and meet you guys there. I can’t wait!
