March 31, 2007 - Carpinteria Tide Pools
On March 31, 2007, at low tide (3:24 pm), The Ventura County Photowalkers will be meeting at the Carpinteria State Beach to photograph the beautiful tide pools.
We’ll meet at 3:00 pm on the beach. I expect to hang around at least an hour. When we’ve had our fill, I’m going to get some early dinner at one of the area’s great restaurants. You should consider bringing the family, this is a great learning opportunity for all.
On another note, I’ve added a mapping plugin that will allow all photowalk organizers to add a nice clean map to our posts. I’ve tried out several different plugins, and this one works the best. I tried to make sure it is easy enough to learn. The only catch is that they don’t show in Safari. You’ll have to be using Firefox to see them correctly. Below is the first map, for the Carpinteria Tide Pools.
